That’s the exhortation from Minister of Finance Christopher Sinckler to aggrieved waste haulers and the Ministry of the Environment as the stand-off between the two sides over a new tipping fee drags into another week.
“There has to be a cooling and a more congenial atmosphere,” the Minister of Finance told the Sunday Sun.
“You can’t set conditions on meeting. Let’s just meet; and I think once they reach out to Minister Lowe, the ministry and the SSA (Sanitation Services Authority), that meeting can take place.
