THE Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) suffered another major blow to their chances of retaining their Digicel Premier League football title when they were defeated by a ten-man Brittons Hill unit 2-1 on Sunday at the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) Wildey AstroTurf.

Rendezvous regained sole position at the top of the standings after dismissing Direct TV Paradise 3-0 and in the other encounter, the University of the West Indies (UWI) were held to a 3-3 draw by Solaris Pinelands.

Pinelands moved into seventh position with a well deserved draw against title challengers UWI. UWI opened the scoring within seconds of the game through national midfielder Amal Mayers, but Chad Parris brought Pinelands level in the 27th minute.
