THE BAJANS are running rings around the college circuit.

Both local track darling Akela Jones and rising

star Anderson Devonish finished as the high-point scorers at the Big 12 and Missouri Valley Track and Field Championships, respectively.

Jones had three second-place performances as well as a couple other scoring efforts on two relay squads to tally a meet-best 26.50 points and lead the women’s squad to second overall.
