Guyanese exhibitors left with sour taste

IT WAS A NOT-TOO-PLEASANT introduction to getting their goods into Barbados.

And now the co-ordinator of the Guyanese contingent’s participation in BMEX 2015 said it would be up to officials of the South American country to assess whether its manufacturers would participate in any further events.

Senior investment officer in the Guyana Office of Investment, Roxanne Sumner, was speaking to the Sunday Sun as the 23 exhibitors were feverishly unpacking and setting up their display and tables well after the 9 a.m. start of the first day of the trade exhibition.
