Rendezvous, Wales on course

WEYMOUTH WALES and Rendezvous remained on course to do the “double” this season as they both recorded victories in their respective quarter-final matches on Sunday in the Banks Champions Cup.

Playing at the Wildey AstroTurf in front of the largest crowd to date, Weymouth Wales needed extra time to defeat Division 3 outfit Barbados Defence Force (BDF) 2-1.

In the other game Rendezvous dismissed Mackeson Brittons Hill 3-0.Tristan “Fishy” Parris handed Wales the lead in the 35th minute but Ancil Prince equalized for BDF on the stroke of halftime.
