THE MILK-A-THON is here in a move aimed at providing healthy milk for impoverished families.
The event has taken place in Trinidad for the past two years but is making its debut in Barbados. It was launched on Wednesday at Banks Holdings Limited corporate headquarters, The Pine, St Michael.
The Barbados Milk-A-Thon is a result of a partnership between Tetra Pak, the Pine Hill Dairy (PHD) and the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) to collect and provide milk to less fortunate children and their families.
