BARBADOS’ NATIONAL INITIATIVE FOR SERVICE EXCELLENCE programme “100 Improvements in 100 Days” may become a model for the region.
Chief executive officer of NISE, Kim Tudor, has broached the idea to the Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica’s service excellence awards ceremony which she addressed last week.
Speaking at the Barbados 2014 NISE Awards Gala at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre Thursday night, Tudor said she had suggested “a Caribbean-wide” improvement challenge and awards programme to the Jamaicans as one way of increasing regional competitiveness and service excellence.
NISE first introduced the 100 Improvements In 100 Days programme in 2012, challenging businesses and individuals in Barbados to identify and implement at least 100 improvements in their lives and businesses in 100 days.
