Jamaicans out front

Jeffrey Panton and Michael Fennell Jr are on a mission today.

They are attempting to become the first Jamaican pair to win the Sol Rally Barbados since 2006.

Yesterday, Panton and Fennell took the leadin the event, having recorded an elapsed timeof 38 minutes, 19.41 seconds.

As the rally heads into the final day, they will be trying to stave off the challenge of a host of contenders in their Rubis/Total/Sandals Barbados Ford Focus WRC06. (Picture by Nigel Browne.)
