IN A FEW WEEKS, the roundabout at Blackman and Gollop Primary School will look quite different.
Instead of a solitary sapling surrounded by dirt, plants and flowers will soon start to grow.
On Friday, members of the school’s club planted several flowers and shrubs in honour of World Environment Day.
The Scouts, 4H Club, JOOI Club (Junior Optimist Octagon International) and the Inter-School Christian Fellowship Club took part in the ceremony.
Some of the plants were donated by Harmony Enterprises.
This year, World Environmental Day was celebrated under the theme: Seven Billion Dreams, One Planet. Consume with Care. (SAT)
