SAGICOR UWI closed out the preliminary round of the Sagicor General T20 Cricket Competition with an unbeaten record today.
UWI topped the Zone A standings with 24 points after recording a 22 run victory over Nicholls Baking Combermere at 3Ws Oval.
There were also victories for Lee’s Bistro Carlton and LIME.
Maple are on top of Zone B with 60 points and ESA Field Pickwick, also unbeaten, head Zone C with 20.
The top two teams in each zone, plus the two best third placed teams will advance to the quarter-finals. The quarter-finalists will be determined by the Barbados Cricket Association.
