THE MUCH TALKED ABOUT River Bus Terminal will soon be under construction, and with it will come a major change in operations.
Not only will passengers have to enter the terminal to board a van at a designated bay, but there will be a separate entrance and exit for vans.
That information was revealed yesterday during a tour of the site for the River Terminal by Minister of Transport Michael Lashley and a contingent including staff of his ministry, the Transport Authority and architect Stanton Haynes.
Most of the vans currently enter from Nursery Drive, but that road will be made one-way when the $2.5 million facility is completed. All vans will have to enter from further down via Hardwood Alley.
