Road rage

AN ALMOST decade-long controversy over access to a public road in St Thomas has once again caused contention among residents.

The issue comes as workers from the Ministry of Transport and Works this week erected a barrier to block access to the Cane Garden Old Road and Castle Rock via the Cane Wood end.

Residents, as well as St Thomas Member of Parliament Cynthia Forde, voiced their dissent at the erection and what they contended was blatant disrespect and disregard for them, since there was no dialogue before the structure was erected.
