Clearly superior to her peers, Poetic Licence will again start as the overwhelming favourite to land today’s running of the Pinnacle Feeds Midsummer Creole Classic over 1 800 metres for West Indian-bred three-year-olds at the Garrison Savannah.

This grade I race, the day’s seventh, has a post time schedule for 4:05 p.m. and is the second jewel of the Barbados Triple Crown carrying a total purse of $63 000. Apart from being the classiest equine in the nine-horse field she is loaded with speed often leaving her opponents all leg weary.

The Bills Inc. owned filly will be looking to notch win number five on the trot on the Pinnacle Feeds Midsummer Creole Classic Raceday card consisting of nine races.
