Junior Kadooment

STUDENTS OF THELMA BERRY Nursery School had a blast as they took to the road last Friday for their very own mini-Kadooment.

The St David’s, Christ Church school hosted its cultural explosion and open day to highlight what Barbados meant to them. They performed for onlookers who watched as they danced  up and down the streets before returning to their school.

All five classes participated in the fun-filled event, with each highlighting some aspect of Barbadian heritage and culture. The themes were: Bajan Cherries, Sweet Sugar Canes, Splendid Sunbeams, Gold Cup Stars and Fantastic Flying Fish.
