No change after BL&P, union talks

NO RETREAT. No surrender.

That might well have been the slogan for the Barbados Light & Power Co. Ltd. (BL&P) during another round of talks with the Barbados Workers’ Union (BWU) yesterday over a controversial cost-cutting exercise.

BL&P’s human resources manager Roger Babooram told the  DAILY NATION the two sides still had their differences on the issue of the quantum of severance pay being offered to employees the electricity company was laying off.
