Tridents in trouble for first time

BARBADOS TRIDENTS are in trouble on 14 for three in their Hero Caribbean Premier League T20 cricket match against the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at Kensington Oval.

They are chasing 144 for victory and have lost the wickets of Dilshan Munaweera(2), Dwayne Smith(10) and Jonathan Carter(0). Sheldon Cotterell has so far taken two wickets and Sohail Tanvir one.

The Patriots were put in to bat after losing the toss and made 143 for eight. Orlando Peters top scored with 27 and Carlos Brathwaite chipped in 22 not out off ten balls.

Ravi Rampaul, Rayad Emrit and Kieron Pollard all took two wickets each for the Tridents. (PG)
