Police charge wanted man in drug find

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged a second man in connection with the seizure of cannabis from a vehicle which overturned.

Jabarry Ashanti Clarke, 25, of Sobers Lane, Tudor Street, St Michael was charged with possession, trafficking and possession of cannabis with intent to supply.

The cannabis – six polythene bags and a taped bag – was seized at St Bernard’s Village, St Joseph on June 17. It weighed 81 kilos.

Wade Cortez Hope, 37, of Lodge Terrace, St Michael is also facing similar charges.

Clarke is expected to appear at the District E/Holetown Magistrates Court today. He had been the subject of a wanted man notice. (PR/SAT)
