Man charged in Ruby shooting

FORTY-NINE-YEAR-OLD Douglas Fitzgerald Dacosta Hurdle of Work Hall, St Philip is expected to appear in court today charged with the offences of wounding with intent and use of a firearm.

The charges stem from a June 30 incident in which Anthony Prescott was shot in the chest and left leg whilst at Ruby Tenantry, St Philip.

Prescott was transported to hospital where he underwent surgery.  

Hurdle is expected to appear at the District “C” Magistrates’ Court. (PR/NB)
