Junior Monarch semis in full swing

THE TWELVE semi-finalists in the eight to 12 category of the Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch have had their turn before the judges.

They now have to wait while an equal number of competitors in the 13 to 18 category face judgement.

It is a packed hall at The Lester Vaughan School, and it seems like every singer brought along a cheering party to offer support while they try to impress the judges.

Eight singers from each group will go on to the July 18 finals.(YB)
