AS THE SANITATION SERVICE AUTHORITY (SSA) strike continues, it is a case of garbage, garbage everywhere in some parts of the island.
Most noticeably in the area of The City, refuse piles are growing although in some cases, residents said the garbage had been there before the strike but was now even worse. Such was the case in Indian Ground, Lower Westbury Road.
In Chapman Lane, a group of boys pointed out where the garbage was worse with one of them asking the team, “why the garbage people ain’t come? They got days off?”
Another woman, who also did not wish to be identified, said garbage in the area was a problem, strike or no strike. (CA)
