WANTED – an attorney at law or legal firm to bring before the appropriate court of the land the persons who signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Cahill Energy and themselves purporting to act on behalf of the Government of Barbados, to have Cahill Energy build and operate a plasma gasification plant in St Thomas Barbados and in so doing, acted ultra vires the interest of the people of Barbados.
Action is also to be brought against members of Cabinet of the Government of Barbados severally and collectively who co-opted the actions of those persons who acted ultra vires the interest of the people of Barbados in signifying the said MOU, unless they can show and severally and collectively that they did not so signify, thus reducing the said MOU to the status null and void and of no effect in the country of Barbados.
Inasmuch as the matter is now in the public domain, all parties to the MOU in its active or subsequently even the null and void phase, have caused many of the population of Barbados stress and anxiety and concern over negative health impacts and the potential to create a disturbance in the tourism market demand.
There can be no monetary payments sufficient to assuage the pain and anguish experienced by the people of Barbados as a result of the Cahill Energy MOU, so it is the opinion of the court that everyone involved should resign within 30 days of this judgment.
So noted in the Court of Public Opinion.
