It’s full steam in terminal clean-up

PESTICIDE TREATMENT and a cleaning exercise aimed at ridding the Fairchild Street Bus Terminal of bugs  that were biting passengers have started and will continue until the environmental and health problems  are resolved.

General manager of the Barbados Transport Board, Sandra Forde, made this clear while revealing that the terminal was fully sprayed last Saturday. In addition, the buses were being cleaned on an ongoing basis.

Late last month the Transport Board announced it was fighting a bug infestation after passengers complained of being bitten by the critters while sitting on the terminal benches.
