THE ROBERTS TRUCK, one of the major crowd pullers at Foreday Morning Jam, is no more and jumping time has been moved up by an hour.

It was announced yesterday that the Roberts/Barbados Light & Power truck, which usually brought up the rear of the nocturnal street party is out, and the King of the Road Truck sponsored by First Choice Sound System is in.

Adrian Yard, a senior manager of farm service logistics and retail with Roberts, said that doing away with the truck after ten years in Foreday Morning, had nothing to do with any negativity surrounding the festival.

Over the decade, Roberts Manufacturing had been sponsoring what was considered the revellers truck that grew from several hundred to thousands as revellers left  The City and jaunted down to Spring Garden. (SDB Media)
