TRAFFIC CONGESTION, chemicals, potential fire and health hazards are some of the major concerns of residents of Graeme Hall, Christ Church over a proposed construction project in their area.
It all surrounds the plan for a laboratory complex, administrative offices and other ancillary buildings for the Barbados National Standards Institution and the National Agriculture Health and Food Control System at Graeme Hall.
The concerns were aired at a recent town hall meeting at Divi Southwinds Hotel.
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), which was the basis for the meeting, is being undertaken by Santec Consultancy. (SDB Media)
