FIRSTCARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL BANK and the University of the West Indies have joined together to offer a summer programme for secondary school students.

About 75 teenagers from 18 secondary schools, including one private institution, are currently attending a one-week programme at the Cave Hill Campus, which will introduce them to programmes offered in all of the faculties. The experience includes a one-night sleep over on the dormitories.

FirstCaribbean provided scholarships for almost all of the students participating in the inaugural programme. (YB)
