THE SOUNDS of resistance rang out loudly, reverberating around the Frank Collymore Hall on Friday night.
It was the Echoes Of Change!, those provocative and introspective moments which perhaps resonated most with the patrons attending the COB/BTI Crop Over Evening Of Folk.
For 90 minutes, the large audience found itself transported to a time where change abounded. People were caught in a time between present day Barbados and several pivotal moments during slavery and Independence, which changed the course of history and gave the country the legacy on which it was built.
It was riveting, introspective (it really was) and far from the “boring” production some patrons thought it would be. (Green Bananas Media)
