BARBADOS TRIDENTS captain Kieron Pollard has stoutly defended the team tactics which failed to help them successfully secure another Caribbean Premier League title that the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel won on Sunday night.
Not only did the Red Steel party until the wee hours of the morning in a Carnival-like atmosphere at the Queen’s Park Oval, but they copped the first prize of US$400 000.
The Tridents chose to send Kyle Corbin at number three in his first match, key strike bowler Ravi Rampaul didn’t bowl out his four-over spell, while it was felt that Pollard batted too late in the innings.
