Classic: It’s my time

MORE THAN THREE decades of relentless toil have finally paid off for William ‘Classic’ Waithe.

Classic, of De Big Show, drove away with the prize car and the trophy after being crowned the MQI Pic-O-De-Crop winner in the wee hours of yesterday.

His total of 98 points put him four ahead of Donella of Cave Shepherd All Stars.

“To me this is a testament of perseverance and doing something that I love doing and believing that I have something to offer and being inspired and motivated by the people who give me the support every year to keep coming,” he said.
