Show a boost for business

A SPEIGHTSTOWN businessman believes that tomorrow’s tourism event will be a plus for businesses in the town.

Clement Armstrong, owner of Fisherman’s Pub, said yesterday that the town could become the tourist spot of the north and take some of the pressure off Bridgetown by having ships dock there.

He was speaking at a Press conference which formed part of the Barbados Tourism Product Authority launch of Speightstown Alive, which begins tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Armstrong, who is passionate about Speightstown, pointed out that everything that happened in the town had been because of the tourism body.
