Good response to Speightstown Alive event

VERY HAPPY. That was the feeling of chief executive officer of the Barbados Tourism Product Authority, Dr Kerry Hall, to the “coming-out party” for the new Government entity, which played host to scores of visitors to Speightstown yesterday.

“We will talk with the NCF (National Cultural Foundation) and see if it is something that will be a staple, but right now it was just a one-off event.”

Hall, speaking after taking part in the first heritage walking tour, was enthusiastic about the response to the all-day event in the usually sleepy St Peter town. (HLE)
