THREE-TIME DEFENDING CHAMPIONS Nicholls Baking Combermere took first innings honours against Queen’s College on Day 2 of the LIME Barbados Cricket Association’s Under-15 final at the Desmond Haynes Oval yesterday.

The Waterford lads began the day on four without loss and ended up easily overhauling Queen’s College’s first innings total of 129 for five.

Combermere ended their 35 overs on 165 for four, with captain Zidane Clarke leading the way with an unbeaten 42. Kaston Stoute scored 37 and Matthew Forde 28.

The Queen’s College lads were 48 for one in their second innings, with the in-form Nico Reifer set to continue on 43. The other not out batsman was Jamahl Burke, who made just one run off the 34 balls he faced.
