VINCENT LAYNE, who touched the lives of many Barbadians, was laid to rest at the Bushy Park cemetery, St Philip after a service at Dunamis Outreach Ministries, Christ Church this afternoon.

Layne, known for his engineering and farming skills, was also an ardent contributor to the local call-in programmes where he shared his views on a wide range of subjects.

The 66-year-old, from Farm Road, St Philip, lost his two sons tragically after they were pulled from a pond almost 20 years ago. He was found dead in his car almost two weeks ago close to the same Bushy Park cemetery, where his children were buried.

Layne was reported missing hours before his body was discovered. (JS)
