CARIBBEAN motor racing champion Kristian Jeffrey of Guyana and double Superbike Champion Stephen Vieira are included in a strong Guyana team for the Williams Industries Digicel International Race Meet at Bushy Park on September 12 and 13.

The Guyanese drivers – currently the Seaboard Marine Caribbean Motor Racing Championship (CMRC) points leaders on two and four wheels – will have Kristian’s father Kevin in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII.

Mark Vieira, a regular visitor to Bushy Park over the past decade and a former lap record holder at the old Bushy Park circuit, will also be bringing a Mazda RX-8, while Danny Persaud, who drives a turbocharged Toyota-powered Mazda Miata in Group 3 in the CMRC Group 4 team, is scheduled to make the trip.
