Robbery attempt at COB

POLICE ARE ON the hunt for two men who minutes ago staged an unsuccessful robbery attempt at the City of Bridgetown Credit Union Black Rock, St Michael branch in the Carlton Supermarket complex.

According to reports, just around 10″30 a.m., two masked men armed with guns entered the credit union facility but were confronted by a security guard.

He was was reportedly gun-butted by one of the culprits.

The bandits, who left empty-handed, reportedly escaped in a silver grey Toyota vehicle with a St Peter registration number. (TS)
