PUDDING & SOUSE: ‘Moutta Brown’ on wrong road

HE IS WELL KNOWN for ensuring people are competent when they get behind the wheels, but he is equally well known for giving a lot of trouble in the Pine, and finds a lot of time to proclaim to the public near and far, about all that’s wrong, yet he recently found himself not doing the right thing.

While getting read to leave the Pine recently, one of the people whom he always has under his radar, took a close look to see why the windscreen of his vehicle was so dirty. Low and behold, the quizzing eye caught hold of this man’s breach of the law. This embarrassed moutta man had to rush to make wrong things right because not even his friends who are there to serve and protect would have been able to save him.

The people in The Pine whom he likes to give a lot of heat are asking him to please go on shortwave, on eff em  and even online as is his customary tactics, only this time to tell the public why for months he did not follow the right road.

The long line

Taxi drivers and small tour operators, already shouting out about unfair competition and unwanted pressure from big-time players, now fear that things are going from bad to worse.

The grumblings from Seawell to Bridgetown is that a new man will be joining their line coming October. This man, who already has his big rides which have pride of place, is now getting ready to put his smaller ride up against the other fellows to see which people prefer. But, the men are real scared that the big man will get most of the people admiring his ride even before they get a chance to see what the others are offering.

Some people in the line are saying that rather than two special interest groups, the action if allowed to happen, will mean three groups fighting for the little bread left since most would have been already eaten by those inside Marie’s house.

The operators are hoping that the fat boy deputy, whose family also drives a small ride, would understand what is at risk, otherwise he too may have to go in St Thomas and beg for a meal.

Leaving this time?

It seems that unfavourable news from the town crier and disloyal subjects have forced the king of the highway to proclaim once again that he will be abdicating.

Unlike the first threat there has not been any chattering over the announcement from the king as apparently most attention was on the apple pie feast being prepared for those living over hill and dale.

After this latest feast it will be interesting to see whether the king keeps his word and only holds royal balls in new foreign kingdoms or whether he was just flying a regal kite again.

Tables turned

There are 98 reasons one would not want to be in the shoes of two people from The Pine today.

One fella who behaves as if these are still the times of the Arawaks and Caribs, but who likes to say he is from the east, had a torrid time this week.

Word is that he was in handcuffs. Yup, that’s the words from his mates who have been laughing non-stop at his fate. He must have learnt his lesson and will undoubtedly want to stay away from trouble.

The other is a little more sleazy, according to reports from those who have been listening on mornings to the conversations. Exposure and popularity isn’t something everybody can handle, so when the young tings push up themselves it could be trouble.

Just so, a young lady was pregnant and this noisemaker and his main fling cuss this outside woman. Sadly, the little one arrived but quickly departed and rather than simply giving thanks, this noisemaker and his main squeeze have been cussing the former outsider and simply making her life miserable.
