Usain Bolt won his third gold medal at the 2015 World Championships by powering Jamaica’s men’s sprint relay team to a world-leading performance yesterday.

On the penultimate day of the championships at the historic Bird’s Nest Stadium in Beijing, China, the Jamaican quartet of Nesta Carter, Asafa Powell, Nickel Ashmeade and Bolt ran the fastest time of the season to win the 4×100 metres event in 37.36 seconds.

Bolt had earlier struck gold in the 100 and 200 metres.
