14-year-old remanded to GIS on firearm charge

THE 14-YEAR-OLD BOY who shot himself in his left leg has been remanded to the Government Industrial School by a Bridgetown Magistrate.

The Haggatt Hall, St Michael youth appeared in the District “A” Traffic Court before Magistrate Graveney Bannister but was not required to plead to the indictable charge of possession of a firearm on Saturday, August 29.

Bannister remanded him to appear before Magistrate Manila Renee in the Juvenile Court on Wednesday. (GBM)
