Lockhart hopeful

BARBADOS’ BEST is looking for his next payday.

André Lockhart isn’t ready to hang them up just yet, as the overseas-based professional basketballer is set to leave Barbados for England tomorrow in hopes of negotiating another contract.

“I’m just looking to try out with some teams, I haven’t signed with anyone as yet so I am just talking to a few teams and hoping that something comes up soon,” said the 29-year-old guard.

“I’m not panicking right now because I understand the business of the situation. I’m just hoping for the right opportunity to come up so I can continue my career.”
