NEW WEST INDIES Test captain Jason Holder says he has had no problems with the senior players in the regional team since taking over as the One-Day International skipper.

“I’ve had a relationship with most of them before and since I became captain that relationship has not deteriorated. Chris [Gayle] is at a stage now where he’s 35 but there are other guys like the Bravos and the Pollards who I’ve always had good relationships with,” Holder told reporters at a media conference at the C.L.R. James Building on the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies yesterday.

“But if you look at the Test arena, there are a lot of young guys who I have come through the system with so it should be a very good experience leading them and I expect nothing but the best from them,” he added.
