SWIFT ACTION.
That is what former attorney general Dale Marshall is calling for to arrest what appears to be an upsurge in child abuse cases in Barbados.
He added that while the issue was one that should concern everyone, Government had a key role in the handling of reported cases.
“The state has to act with alacrity when reports are made. They have to investigate quickly, because you know the damage that is done to these children is something that happens very swiftly… (YB)
