FROM MENT TO BOYS. That’s the new focus of the Men’s Educational Support Association (MESA) as its seeks to help the youth grow into responsible men who can handle themselves in the kitchen, around women and improve their basic life skills.
“Generally our focus must be men but my main focus is on boys because you are a boy before a man and if you can guide a boy, then most likely he will become a better man,” MESA chairman Grantley Osbourne told the DAILY NATION during the association’s annual luncheon at Sunbury Plantation, St Philip, yesterday.
He said it was imperative for boys to have academic qualifications and be taught basic life skills.
