Slow season for jet skis

THINGS are looking brown for some seacraft operators along the West Coast, and it has nothing to do with the Sargussum seaweed.

“Things are really, really slow. I never saw this in my whole life, 16 years of water sports,” said one operator who gave his name as Shabba. He operates a glass bottom boat at Mullins,St Peter.

“The glass bottom boat there whole week and didn’t make no money at all,” he said.

The world was facing a global recession, he said, and people were keeping the zips on their purses and wallets.
