TWO OF THE top performers in this year’s Scotiabank Junior Calypso Monarch Competition were among the standouts at the second semi-final of the National Independence Festival of Creative Arts (NIFCA) at Combermere School Hall on Saturday night.

Patrons were glued to her every word, and the thunderous applause continued long after she had sung the final note.
