Good night for defending champions

There was a goal rush at the Wotton Pasture when the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Classic continued on Saturday night.

Defending champions Christ Church East Central gave the home fans a lot to cheer about as they picked up their second win by defeating St Philip West 5-2.

Danger man Jabarry Chandler scored his second brace of the competition when he scored in the 25th and 28th minutes. Jeff Turton (36th) Khalid Gill (48th) and Alex Hackett (77th) chipped in with a goal each. St Philip West’s Norrin Corbin scored both goals for his team in the 34th and the 50th minutes.
