COLOMBO, Sri Lanka – West Indies were kept in the field all day ahead of Wednesday’s start to the opening Test as Milinda Siriwardana dominated with an unbeaten hundred for Sri Lanka Cricket President’s XI on the final day of the drawn three-day tour game yesterday.

Resuming from their overnight 233 for three, the hosts piled on the runs to close on 455 for seven at the Sinhalese Sports Club, with the left-handed Siriwardana stroking an unbeaten 105.

It was a difficult practice outing for the Windies, who had earlier been bowled out for 209 in their first innings. They did, however, have tougher conditions to bat in.
