Sir David wants vibrant Caricom

CARICOM integration may be alive, but former Chief Justice of Barbados, Sir David Simmons would like to see it kicking some more.

“I’m a little disappointed with where we are with the CARICOM project,” the outspoken jurist said in an interview yesterday, moments after being conferred with an honorary degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI).

“I sincerely hope we can get CARICOM to work,” Sir David said after the 2015 graduation ceremony of the University of the West Indies at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
