STUDENTS FROM almost every school in the country took to the streets to show the importance of education today.

Carrying banners with the school names and placards with positive messages about school and education, the students paraded from Queen’s Park, through parts of Bridgetown and back.

They were served lunch and then treated to a concert featuring performances from several school groups. The parade and concert formed part of activities for Education Month. (YB)
