Pedestrian dies following accident

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING a fatal accident which occurred about 9:40 p.m. last night at Sion Hill, St James.

Dead is 36-year-old resident of the area Dave Hurley who was a pedestrian at the time.

He was struck by a van driven by Dwayne Harris, 34, of Lower Carlton, St James. 

Hurley was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and he was pronounced dead on arrival. (PR/NB)
