PRESIDENT OF THE Senate Kerry-Ann Ifill today extended condolences to the families of victims of last weekend’s motor vehicle accident that claimed the lives of four young women and left a fifth woman hospitalised with serious injuries.

Ifill took a moment before the beginning of yesterday’s Senate session to express her sadness over the accident and loss of life.

“It is indeed a tragedy for our country to lose so many young people at one time and our hearts grieve with the families. May their souls rest in peace” she said as Senators bowed their heads as a mark of respect. (GC)
