Barbados’ do-or-die Davis Cup relegation tie against Uruguay is locked at one game apiece following today’s reverse singles at the National Tennis Centre.

The visitors took the initial lead after Santiago Maresca beat Seanon Williams 6-2, 6-2, 6-1 before Darian King inevitably levelled the tie with a 6-1, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 victory over Rodrigo Arus.

The tie continues tomorrow morning at 11 a.m. with the doubles. (JM)
